Artificial Intelligence applied to Ecology and Behavioural studies

From 20 Jun 2023 until 23 Jun 2023 - BIOPOLIS-CIBIO, Vairão, Portugal (Face-to-face)
Artificial Intelligence applied to Ecology and Behavioural studies
Students will learn how to apply machine learning to answer relevant questions in ecology and behavioural studies. Students will be given a brief overview of the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, more specifically on the use of deep learning and its applications in solving real-world problems faced by researchers working with large animal based datasets. This course will teach students how to create deep learning-based algorithms that can efficiently extract information from various forms of data, such as images and videos.
