ADVANCED COURSE: BIO-LOGGING: DEVELOPING SENSORS AND LOGGERS FOR BEHAVIOURAL AND ECOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS

13 Apr 2016 - June 13-15, 2016 | CIBIO-InBIO, Vairão, Portugal
ADVANCED COURSE: BIO-LOGGING: DEVELOPING SENSORS AND LOGGERS FOR BEHAVIOURAL AND ECOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS

This advanced course encompasses all steps necessary to design, build, and use bio-logging tools. It will also focus on how to use vast amounts of data collected by the loggers. Case studies include intertidal applications, flight analysis of birds, and foraging ecology of large marine predators.

Objectives:
1. Learn to design and build loggers.
2. Learn to program, deploy loggers and retrieve data.
3. Learn to process data.
