I graduated from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in 2011, with a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Landscaping Architecture; as part of my curricular internship I worked in Parques de Sintra - Monte da Lua, S.A., doing maintenance and management of gardens.
During 2011 I was also a volunteer in the Stowe Landscape Garden, under the supervision of The National Trust. I was part of the team that performed maintenance on the park and the nineteen hundreds garden, where I had the opportunity to learn a variety of gardening techniques.
Both this experiences consolidate my personal taste for landscaping architecture, historical gardens and maintenance and management of gardens.
I also worked for EDP - Gestão de Produção de Energia, S.A., integrated in the projects of Landscaping Recovery and Integration, Landscaping and Environmental impact assessment for several hydro-electrical developments.
I’ve did several freelancing projects for of Recovery and Landscape Integration and also projects of private gardens. At the same time, I did a family agricultural project for the production of redberries and I am finishing the Masters in Agronomic Engineering in Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto.
I am currently collaborating on the protocol between the Serralves Foundation and CIBIO - InBio, where I will develop a reflection on the possibilities of intervention in the Serralves park, more precisely in the agricultural area (usually called 'Quinta de Mata Sete '). The objective is to foster biodiversity and make this area more ecologically balanced and more interesting from the point of view of environmental education.
