I graduated in Biology and did a Master in Ecology from the University of Coimbra. In my Master’s thesis I studied the space use and foraging behaviour of red deer in open areas.
After finishing my Master I worked in Ecological and Epidemic Modelling in the Centro de Matemática e Aplicações Fundamentais of University of Lisbon during 3 years. In that time, I used ecological and epidemic models and statistic to understand the effect of the mosquito vector (Aedes aegypti) on dengue fever dynamics.

In 2015, I enrolled in the BIODIV PhD program from CIBIO/InBIO, with a BIODIV-FCT grant.

My research interests are ecology, conservation, behaviour and dynamic of wild mammals’ populations.
