Isildo Gonçalves Gomes

Isildo Gomes, a degree in biology, a master's degree in Natural Resource Management and PhD student in vegetation analysis at the University of Lisbon-Portugal.

Dedicated, since 1990, to carry out inventories, treatment and analysis of phytosociological data botanists. He had published, in collaboration with other international botanic several scientific articles about the vegetation and flora of the Cape Verde Islands during two decades. The actions that has been developing since 1989, in the domain of conservation of vegetation and flora of the archipelago of Cape Verde, had contributed to the identification of Protected Areas in all the islands of this archipelago.
