I have dedicated particular attention to the construction and organization of the Osteological collections – an unquestionable tool for the right identification of faunal remains recovered from archaeological contexts.

I collaborate in various research projects through the study of archaeozoological assemblages. My interests are mainly focussed on the analysis of small mammals and birds remains from an environmental perspective. I have also been concerned with the use of animal bones as a working material by past human communities, incorporating to archaeozoology information from other disciplines such as Ethnology or Musicology. Results of all these activities have been regularly presented in national and international forums (ICAZ Worked Bone Research Group and Bird Working Group).
