The Research Center in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources of the University of Porto (CIBIO/UP) in collaboration with the Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology, University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and the IUCN/SSC Lagomorph Specialist Group, are pleased to invite you to attend the 2nd World Lagomorph Conference that will be held in July 2004 at Vairão, Portugal.

The 2nd World Lagomorph Conference aims to bring together lagomorph researchers from all over the world. It will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss the latest news and developments in Lagomorph biology, ecology, systematics, physiology, paleontology, pathology, genetics, phylogeography, wildlife management, etc. Following the great success of the 1st World Lagomorph Conference 25 years ago, and several Lagomorph meetings, it is now time to organize such an event. Thus, we invite all lagomorph researchers and people interested in this mammal group to attend this conference.
