CIBIO is a R&D Unit managed by ICETA, a non-profit private institution at the University of Porto that benefits from administrative and financial autonomy. CIBIO is hosted by the Universities of Porto (CIBIO's headquarters), Azores and Évora, and IICT (Instituto de Investigação Científica Tropical) in Lisbon.
